Mark Higgins has been teaching in Glasgow Secondary schools for 33 years and for the last 25 years has been the Principal Teacher of maths at Notre Dame High School .

He has been seconded as a Teacher Fellow at the University of Stirling, seconded with Education Scotland and worked with SQA under many guises including Marker, Team Leader, Exam Vetter, Qualifications Design Team member and more. He is passionate in helping young people to develop their confidence in maths and hopefully instil a love for all things mathematical.

Mark was the recipient of the SMC Achievement Award for 2020.
