Tara is a Lecturer in Mathematics Education (Initial Teacher Education) at the University of Dundee.

She joined the Council in 2019 and is currently co-opted to support the organisation of the Council’s Annual Conference at Stirling University.

As a former secondary maths teacher and primary teacher and head teacher, she has a particular interest in mathematics learning and teaching across early years, primary and secondary school education and in how we can create an education system that articulates across sector boundaries.
